One man's trash is another man's treasure

Hey there!

(Wearing ; Top: Father's old shirt, Bottom: Legginess, Boot: Ross, Bracelet: Liz Claiborne)

Do you know the old saying, "One man's trash is another man's treasure'', and isn't it amazing how many times we trash things without realizing it’s a treasure? I experienced one of these situations in my life the other day.  My father was going through his closet, and was digging out old clothes that he wanted to donate or just throw away because of its condition. And like the amazing daughter that I am*cough cough*, I was helping him. After a while of going through piles of men’s old button downs, we found this orange shirt that had lost its color, and was now a blush peach. It also had blue ink stains on the bottom of the pocket from a time when my father left an uncapped pen in it. The worst part of the shirt, according to my father, was the ripping collar. The first time I laid eyes on the shirt I had the same reaction my father had, it is not good enough to even donate, and it must be thrown away.  So, I tossed it into the pile of clothes that needed to be thrown away. The pile actually only consisted of this shirt.   After we were done with the closet, we gathered the clothes, and prepared them for the donation truck. While I was preparing the clothes for the donation truck, I realized that the peach shirt was the only thing being thrown away. For some weird reason, I actually felt sorry for that shirt.  So, I sneaked the shirt into my closet, and the rest is history, that you could probably guess from the pictures.

Thank you for reading this post. (By the way wrote this post after I was done with my math quiz, which was very hard. Hopefully, I get an A, fingers crossed. ) Hope you have a great weekend. Love you all.
